I haven’t been able to put my finger on the pulse of this group. Early reports said that the band began life as The Countdowns and the listing of the Rump brothers adds to this theory. Future bass player Whomes could not confirm the history of the group but said, “I wasn’t in the early line-up but do know from 1966 to September 1968 the band was myself, Dennis Scott, Peter Rump who shared the vocals with Barry Wilson and Jeff Wilson on the guitar.” Members outside of this are unconfirmed although I have listed all those names given to me. It appears the later line-up contained ex Three Quarters Scott and Jeff Wilson. The original line-up recorded at Bob Booths, Bayes Recordium, KL in early 1965 and were also mentioned later that year when they entered the 1965 Station Hotel Beat Competition (see appendix 3) in March (the place).
