The first band of Terry Poulson. “When I was thirteen, I persuaded my dad to let me stop piano lessons, forced on me by Mum, and took up the guitar instead. I stuck with it, having bought Bert Weedon's ‘Play In A Day’ book. I soon joined a skiffle group, with lads from the Youth Club. We had two guitarists, a washboard player, a tea chest bassist, drummer and vocalist. I do remember we all wore turquoise coloured shirts.” Poulson later joined The Vapour Trails.
