"I was 16 and this was my first band from around 1983. The group was literally formed the night before the show and we only ever did one gig at The Brunswick. Youngs was from Nottingham and Seamen went on to a full-time music career. Nobby and I had been playing together ever since I picked up a guitar but he was already doing gigs. We also knew Seaman from our school days. I did not join a gigging band again until around 1989 as I was working away from home. I did join Vinegar Strokes but formed my own band Big Lix in 1990."
