The band palyed their first gig at The Florida Club, ?? on 23/03/1978. Some reports say that Candy Grove are Lowestoft based other say Great Yarmouth. Terry and Mike were partners in the Great Yarmouth music shop Soundgear which opened circa 1976. [unconfirmed]
